Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Vance Hoppe, I pastor a house church in Hawesville, KY. My wife and I founded the Honey Hill Foundation to equip families for all of life and ministry through writing, offering free books and classes, ranging from theology and discipleship, to survival and homesteading. One avenue we are invested in is helping others to faithfully observe a biblical practice of worship in the context of the home. I intend to share some of the considerations that have helped to lead us through many of the questions that others have in their own pursuit of faithfulness.
I want to begin with this very simple point: you are not alone. It can feel very isolating as you begin to question the commercial practice so prevalent in the American church.
